The Barony of Caer Mear is pleased to host our friends for the 12th Ruby Joust. Come join us as welcome the Atlantian summer with a long weekend of tournaments steeped in tradition and history, arts and sciences displays and classes, while celebrating the long days and starlit nights with our friends and chosen family.

| Fighting | Many armored and rapier tournaments will take place over the weekend, including the traditional Ruby Joust on both armoured and rapier fields. Archery and thrown weapons activities are being scheduled. More details will be posted on the website. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Other: | Accessibility Information: The site is primitive but handicapped parking spaces will be designated and handicapped portojohns will be available. Terrain is grass, some gravel, no paved walkways, gentle slopes, but mostly flat. | ||||||||||||||||||||

From South of Richmond:
From I95N, take exit 84B for I-295 toward Charlottesville/I-64 W; proceed approx. 6 miles to Exit 49A (Rt. 33W toward Montpelier). Follow Rt. 33 approx. 4.5 miles, turn Right on Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623). Site is on the Left in approx. .6 mile.
From North of Richmond:
Take I-95S to exit 92, Rt. 54 (England St.). Turn left at Rt. 1 (Washington Hwy.) and go south for aprox. .75 mile. Turn Right on Ashcake Rd/VA-623 S, proceed for approx. 4 miles. NOTE: nav apps will announce you have arrived about a quarter mile before you reach the entrance to Farm – continue approx. .25 mile; entrance to site is on the Right.
